Its My Friggin Birthday and I’ve won my 33rd Logo Contest
March 18, 2009Well this is a good start for my birthday. I woke up today and told myself that Im just gonna enjoy this day. Then, sure enough, when I opened my email account, a beautiful message welcomed me that says “Congratulations! You’ve just won anotehr design contest!” Ah!.. What a great gift.
The contest is for a Web Coding company and it is only about 2 days old and the Contest Holder probably just wanted my design so badly that he ended it quick with 5 days still left in the contest.

Prize Money: $200
Total Number of entries: 20

As a fellow graphic designer, you could be making much more than $200-300 for winning a logo contest.
Quality work deserves quality pay. How much time did you put into that logo? You can charge anywhere from $87-100/hour for logo designs.
Do it. That’s great work and you deserve more for it.
